For shade to shade will come too drowsily

Across the world people died. They fell to ash and dirt, for countless reasons. Sometimes this reason was that someone wanted them dead, and knew who to turn to to make it happen. Crimson was such a man. Leader of the shady vampire clan known as the assamites, he represented them outside of their native region, keeping up a presence in Brightblood territory. It got him a great deal of work in dealings such as this. But, no matter how good he was, he still had to find his target.
He had been told that the man was a ravenesque werebeast who had apparently run afoul of one of the big crime bosses in the area. He knew the details but it meant little to the redhead. He had work to do and thats all it was to him, good work that got him exceptional pay. He was in the middle of the city at night, shrouded in the inexplicably dark void of the shadows  down an alley. He wore remarkably tame clothing with the addition of  a scarf that hide away his trademark mane. He had to be out in the city where the creature was last seen, but hidden enough to listen for his target without getting foolish people interrupting or asking questions. He could face anything he had to in a face to face fight but it simply wasnt his style..

[Nevermore]

Nevermore was never one for a good time but eating out of the trash had rather adverse effects some time. It was then that he woke up in an alley with no memory of what had happened in the last week. "Jeez, what happened?" he picked himself up off of the ground slowly, checking himself for damage. Soon he was up and in bird form flying about, getting a lay of the land before stopping and resting on a bird wire to catch his breath.

It was damn lucky that his target was a crow creature for soon enough he caught an odd silloette , a huge bird form caught in the moonlight cased a shadow over the street. He shifted invisible and moved out into the street, looking for the creature, and then, he saw, perched up on a wire.He stood below it and whispered to his partner, Vermillion ran out from behind a trashcan and started scurrying around, trying to attract Nevermore's attention. He needed to get him down off the wire, for even though he could balance he would still be slower that a winged creature.
