Can't Find Peace at the Bottom of a Bottle

[William Targe]

William addressed Tenshi first. "I appreciate your willingness to help someone, much less an absolute stranger. It's hard to find people that are willing to do that in this day and age." He then turned to address the foppish vampire. "It seemed rather obvious, to be honest. Anyone willing to speak so freely of the loss of a loved one has either had a long time to come to terms with it; or, and I mean no offense, or their not quite right in the head. As for myself, well, one's blood alcohol content allows words to flow more freely." He perked up a bit at Raphael's offer of help. "You would be willing to help? Are you a practicing psychologist?" It was fairly obvious that he was suddenly interested in the vampire's field of work.

[Tenshi]

Tenshi grins and shrugs "I am a creature of passion. To see someone with a passion and failing to strive for it, I feel it necessary to lend what help I can." he holds up his glass "This... this does not fix a problem. Only helps to avoid the case really. No doubt you shorten what life you have drinking as hard as you have been." and takes a drink before setting it down on the table "I want you to keep an open mind about what I have to offer though." his gaze shifts then to Raph "That would be a lovely idea, Raphael is one of the best I've been told. But if we are to acquire his aid, I would say we should move to a place that isn't quite so... public"

Raphael cracked a big grin at the idea of him either being insane or having time to mourn. "Right on both counts my troubled friend. But yes, I hold a degree in abnormal psychology and one in forensic psychology. I like to try and get people before they snap but sometimes you cant until afterwards." he shrugged and grabbed a full bottle of wine off the counter. "..and Akutenshi while I agree with leaving here to discuss this i can only hope I live up to your words. If you ever walked into a madhouse at the turn of the century, wow you would give it your all too." He raised the bottle. "So where to mes amis?"

William nodded at Tenshi's sage words. "You're not wrong there, on either count. I guess I just needed a chance to run from it all, but it's high time I stood up to my responsibilities, yea?" He then turned to Raphael to address him. "I see. You're clearly an expert in your field. As for where to, for now we can go to my home. We can convene in my office. I'd offer to drive, but I'm not exactly in the best position to do so."

[Tenshi]

Tenshi grins and nods to the man "I do try to be the voice of wisdom when I can." he finishes his drink and looks at both men "I can call one of my chauffeur and have him drive us to your home. Neither of us are likely qualified to drive as we have been sharing drinks for a bit now. Though Raphael, I doubt the alcohol affects you like a normal mortal man does it?" he pulls out his phone and starts dialing as he waits for a reply from the men about how to get to Targe's home.

Raphael smiled and looked away bashfully. He was skilled but he didnt often recieve praise. this was was sad but polite. It made Raphael want to help him, and Tenshi beign the proper noble man that he was was fine to talk with to. He gave a shrug as they considered transport. "I dont really drive because I teleport everywhere so your driver is best. Oh this is exciting!" he looked to William."When I was young, I did not know I suffered from any mental illness. The first person to help me offered me quiet and peace and it really helped, because then you can focus on your problems." he explained.

With a quick call the demon had a driver on the way to pick them up. He would have another drink while they waited for their ride to come pick them up. "It is good to know you are willing to take the steps needed to free yourself from the shackles your memory has put on you. And while it is good of you to remember your wife, it must not be allowed to stop that which you love to do. And I doubt she would want to see you give in to defeat."

He receives a phone call from his driver and looks to the others there "Our ride has arrived, the limousine awaits" he rises from the table and leaves some money there for the bartender to pick up later and makes his way toward the door. Outside would be the limousine, black with gold trim, waiting for them to take them to the good doctor's home. "I do enjoy the splendor of these cars"

Raphael lifted his bottle and exclaimed, "Tres bon!" before following the others out to the car, and got in. Oh fancy was all Raphael needed to make his day complete, and right now even with serious work to do he still delighted in the idea of visiting Tenshi's home. Back in the day he recalled Tenshi wearing cravats, so in his mind, they were allies in a world lacking fancy.

William asked for a Virgin Mary from the bartender before addressing Tenshi. "Well, the healing process is accelerated when you have people who know how to help it." He raises his drink Tenshi's way before taking a gulp of it.

When the limo pulled up, William was in awe. Sure, he dressed for his pay grade, but this was way more lavish than his 1970 Beetle. "Surely you didn't go to such lengths for me? You must live quite lavishly to afford to take one of these out for daily use."

[Tenshi]

Tenshi smiles as a man gets out and opens the door for them to get into the back of the car, inside the seats were a deep crimson color and the liner of the car was a mix of black and chrome. "Oh no, I don't do this on a regular basis. I have a Ferrari convertible that I prefer to take through the towns. But when I travel, it's nice to not have to be the one looking for destinations" he chuckles and looks over to Raph as he gets in "I spare no expense when I travel" he waits for Targe to enter the car and then gets in himself. Once the driver gets back in, Tenshi motions to a small com box where Targe was sitting "Give the driver your address and we will be off"

Raphael did not hesitate to get in. Wine and a lavish car, oh he loved this. The man could be licking the walls and he would STILL regain enough clarity to admire the fine upolstery of the vehicle. He also loved how polite both his evening companions were. "Oh you must value every cent you get. Long ago I came from a noble family, then i was destitute when i became a vampire and now im flourishing again and i revel in it, but i only enjoy it so much because ive seen the other side. People should never get so low as to self destruct because one does not know what is on the other side."

William was a man that always lived by the creed that you always live within your means. While it's true that he could afford a better home and car, he would not do so unless he was certain that he had enough saved up extra, in case there were ever an emergency. With his current binges and lack of income with being closed, that was a luxury he currently couldn't afford. "Apparently not." He replied, bowing slightly to the man holding the door open, then to Tenshi as he entered the limo.

When instructed to give his address, he addressed the little black box. "Go to Blackfriar Rd. It's one of the only living spaces on that road." It would be a short trip there, only a few blocks. He may be a drunk, but William is a responsible drunk.

Once the information was given the driver started off. And while the ride wasn't very long, it would get them to the good doctor's place that much quicker so they could continue their conversation in a much more private setting. "I do tend to be a bit flamboyant when it comes to my lifestyle preference. But knowing that any day could be your last, when it comes to war, I do like to know that I enjoyed it to its last moments".

The car rolls up and parks along the curb, near the closest point of entry, before getting out to open the doors for his passengers " also, while we're here, you may want to pack a bag for your time with me while we work on easing that pain of yours" he comments as he motions for his companions to disembark.

Tenshi only had to mention being flamboyant for Raphael to laugh and gesture to his feathered coat and cravat. "You and me both monsieur." He glanced out the window as they pulled up and slipped out. "He is right though, not that I want to sound too preachy but living in the moment does make life easier when you have seen glimpses of what the future holds." he added softly. Malkavians saw some interesting things, whether or not one chose to believe them.
