[Lux]

Lux didn't like the meeting of the prophets, he felt like it was too many personalities butting heads in hopes that they would emerge the victor. He felt like it accomplished less than congress did back when the United States was a thing. At least they worked towards the common goal of money and greed. This was just a flustercluck of people who would never talk to each other under any circumstance. Though it was worth putting up with to finally talk to Kakeru. Lux viewed the man in the meeting room with calm look, but on the inside he was like a kid on christmas waiting to unwrap his presents, or a deranged psycho  waiting to unwrap his victim. The second one seem to fit more for Lux's current attitude. He walked up to him and spoke "Let's just get down to the nitty gritty huh? What is you wanted to talk about?"

[Kakeru Kun Fallen]

Kakeru tilts his head looking at Lux, he lets out a sigh, damn he hated that meeting. Hopefully the next one would go better. He brushes his blue hair back, "Your plan, it was good, just... not good enough. Look I want Dametrius to step down as well, for different reasons, but I'm not one for betraying my friend and I'm not one for ruling but the company goes to me if he does, none of the people lined up are ready to lead, it wouldn't be fair to make us, so there is the choice, I make you my right hand now... when Dame steps down I make you the leader?" Kakeru had made sure that there was no one around to hear what was being said. He wasn't betraying his friend and he knew that, "In the mean time I teach you how to run a business."

[Lux]

Lux smiled at Kakeru for a moment and spoke in a friendly enough voice, placing his hand on Kake's shoulder. " I just might do that, but then again you do realize that means me giving up at least some portion of honor to say that I can't assume the throne as myself? I mean that is a heavy decision on my part. Especially since Demetrius is a prophet and is immortal to aging.That could mean quite a long wait on my part. Though it almost guarantee's the the seat of power for me . You know that must be a tough choice for me." Lux sneered out of sight, grabbing Kake by the back of the neck and slamming his face onto the meeting table. Lux chuckled as he drained away all of Kakeru's memories from the past four months the moment his face collided with the edge of the table. He let go immediately after. The blow would be hard enough to daze him but not much else. Lux put on his most convincing look of worry as he bent down to "help Kakeru up". What he was actually doing was implanting a set of calculated memories to help fill out his lost ones, but just enough so that he would think the blow to the head he had just received had caused partial memory loss. making Kakeru not remember the blow at all. Lux was sitting Kake up when he spoke with sympathy that was constructed over 200 hundred years of trying to bone every attractive alive. he was quite the actor. After all he took theater in high school just to learn how to fake the emotions that manipulated best. Maybe he would get Akusai to teach him how Kabuki theater worked and do a production with him for giggles. Though for now Lux simple spoke with that carefully ruse full sympathy " Damn Kake you aren't really having the best time lately . I mean first Dame has your contract cancelled for not being able to preform your duties , and now you crack your fucking head open right when I decide to buy out your previous one." That was his master plan and the memory that would win him Kakeru. He had set it up so that Kake remembered Dametrius utterly pissed about lux being able to walk into his house and almost win had the gods not been there to stop him and he had left them alone. He would rememebr Dame in his fit of rage throwing him to the curb, and having his contract terminated. He would also remember Dame, in his fit of berzerking rage, that if kake ever contacted him outside of a prophet and herald meeting, that Dame would have things done to him that would be a fuzzy memory because lux wouldn't know what would keep him from talking to Dame. He also let him rememebr the important bits of the meeting, but also the glares of death from dame. Still pissed that Kake couldn't stop an attacker on his doorstep. Lux relished this, and he would continue to do so for as long as he could keep this going.

[Kakeru Kun Fallen]

Kakeru was needless to say rather shocked when his head hit the table as hard as it did, he slumped to the floor and then has to think before taking Lux's hand. All of his memories of the past four months were gone, replaced with fuzzy memories that hurt his head if he thought about for too long. Kakeru stands up and looks at Lux, "Huh? Oh... yeah." He replies rubbing his head, "Anyway, uh.. contract?" He places his hand on top of his head, "I think that... my next contract was going to be with Alexander Gale actually Lux... I'm sorry. I can't see working with you after you threatened to kill my dau-.. Lux what happened to my daughter after I got thrown out? Where is she and Ben? Is Ayden okay?" Then he thinks, okay Ben had been at the meeting as had Ayden and Fyrann. He sits down, but where did Ben go after the meeting? Ayden probably went back to Africa that made sense, but what about his daughter... and Ben where the hell were they if he had been thrown out. Kakeru had never failed before... why had Dametrius thrown him out now. He needed to get his mind together, "I need to go see Dmytri." He says with a nod.

[Lux]

Lux looked at kake with a small amount of innocent concern. " I would have thought the same thing about Alex seeing as how your a very desirable person to work with. Although my guy on the inside of the company told me that he wouldn't touch you with a 50 ft pole. Something about wanting to keep you as far away as possible to keep on Dame's good side. Hence why I am offering you a contract. As for the threats, they were simply that. I am a monster and a sociopathic psycho but I am not a child killer. I can take pride in that fact at-least". He chuckled " Besides Yoya would her foot broke off so far up my ass that every time i had something to eat it would have to get past it first. I mean the only reason that encounter had turned violent was because i made a bad choice and brought Logan along. I wanted the city not thousands dead by my hand. I don't want a kingdom of the dead Kake. " Lux leaned against the table and put on a sympathetic look " I mean I was bad, but after you told me what Dame was planning to do I would guess your fairly glad to be out of there." Lux let a fuzzy memory come back to him slowly of Dame In his rage telling Kake that he was tired of Lux being a thorn in his side. That he was going to wipe him and his pathetic army off the map with one fell swoop with the only power that could squash lux like a grape: Nuclear. Kake would remember declining to be a part of something like that, and that be a contributing factor. " I want you on my side so I can end this conflict with as little bloodshed as possible and I feel you are the best way to help me do this. And your daughter, as far as I know she and Ben don't even know, i mean did you tell them? " Lux slipped the subtly memory of Kake not knowing how to break it to Ben. " Also as far as I know Dame has left them alone. So if you want you can take a look at my proposal and if you agree I actually have a place you guys can stay until I can have a house set aside for you if you are truly scarred. I like to take care of my friends. besides, just think of how pleased Shinda will be man. though that is beside the point."

Kakeru rubs the front of his head, trying to make himself feel better. He lets out a sigh and sits down, "Can I look at the contract and get back to you? I can stay with Ayden until I figure this all out. I probably haven't been sleeping very well... that would explain why I hit my head... but now everything is all jumbled." He takes out his cellphone and looks at it, of course it had no service he was in the realm of the gods, why didn't his cell phone carrier have an extra-planar plan?

[Lux]

Lux looked at him and let out a semi-frustrated sigh and pulled a stack of papers out of his bag and set them on the table. " I was really hoping to have this all sorted out today, unfortunately that fact isn't up to my desecration. I have your contract here, It basically says that you shall be appointed as leader of my personal guard and task force after a trial/training session where you will learn up on everything you need to know and become aquatinted with the gear and crew you'll be in charge of. Truthfully some of them could be on par with you in skill, but i'm hoping to bring your experience to the group. Although beyond that it says that no military action will be taken until you finish your training, and that when it is taken we will try to coordinate the strike in such a way that it shall not be as bloody as it would have been last time. As for your pay it says that untill the trial period is over you will receive one half of the pay other members of my guard receive with expenses included . I would also provide you with an accommodation until you find a place you like better, or you simply wish to stay there. " Lux let out a sigh that someone might let out after a long day. " I mean seriously, I want this over with man. Otherwise it will just go on forever. Your just the best hope I have to get it done before im an old fox." Lux stood up " So please just work with me on this." In his mid he hated having to do this but it was the best thing for him right now. "especially if Dametrius is going to attack me. I have organized troops and defenses, but if dame really wants me dead Im done for."

[Kakeru Kun Fallen]

Kakeru rubs his head and looks it over searching for anything that could screw him over, "Lux, I..." He sighs and looks up from the contract. "I need to make sure that I am not trapped by this contract. I hate being trapped if something goes differently than the way you say. I don't want to be stuck if I find out you lied to me about something."

[Lux]

Lux looked at him "What do you take me for? You can resign at any time but your sworn to secracy. if you break that then it will get ugly.. Though I suppose you can understand that much. Of course you can also relived from duty assuming you fail to preform up to satisfaction, but I hardly doubt that claus applies to you, seeing your abilities. I mean you can have out this any time you want. You are pretty much free except when on the jobs, then you are constricted to the mission. Non-complience will result in your expulsion from the team, possibly in a violent mannor depending on how badly you compromise the mission, purposefully of course."

[Kakeru Kun Fallen]

Kakeru shrugs and sits back, "Well then... hm. I am not cheap Lux. I do cost quite a bit. It would not be fair to assume you would pay me what Dame paid me but... my minimum is $15,000 a month."

[Lux]

Lux looked at him, "Well, a high price assures high quality, or so I am to assume. But I want to run something by you. I want to offer a monthly rate of 15,000 dollars, but we place 4000 dollars into a pension that gains 5% yearly and 1000 dollars will be moved towards expenses and also training until it is completed. As a result you get a house, food, and other things free. When your training is over I am offering you that you can keep it yourself, or I am offering A bond so you can save up money for your daughter. it is also at 5 % yearly so she will have a nice little nest egg for her when she turns 18. I see this as completely fair and to small degree it's a way you show your loyalty me through acceptance of the pension. I hope you will take this offer although I am open to sugesstions."

[Kakeru Kun Fallen]

Kakeru shakes his head sitting there, "A pension is a good way to either be trapped, or lose a lot of money. Neither of which I am okay with. A savings for my daughter? I have one. I have one for Rilaran as well. You'll have to accept my word that I'm not going to backstab you. My contracts are binding and I'm not one to turn away from duty. Why I've worked for Dame for so long. Got any other ideas?"

[Lux]

Lux looked at him and shrugged. " Eh, call me cheap. Its not like I really need to do it, but it saves me money in the short run. I am willing to pay you." Lux stood up "As I said after all I just wanted to run it past you. This is after all your choice. " Lux stood up and Looked off examining the room with no real intrest. " I would also like to make a much more personal request of you. I would like to meet with your brother but i quite feel like he wouldn't meet me of my own accord, so I would like you to accompany to this meeting I'm calling."

Kakeru signs the contract after triple checking that there was nothing to fuck him over in the end. He sits on the table, "A meeting with Auden? Yeah I don't see why not. He is a good kid, but his lover doesn't trust people."
