Tonight Will Be The Night (Dame)

[Averie Demix]

Averie woke up panicked. Her body still hurt and still bruised. Even her vampire healing abilities had not worked quite yet. Averie starts to cry looking down at her bruised body trying to figure out how she got this way.

[Dametrius]

Dametrius walks in slowly with his hands behind his back and a few scientists, one leans in and speaks to him which resulted in dame simply nodding, "Leave us... she will be fine, I will call you in if I need to...." They both nod and leave Dame alone with Ave as the door closes. Walking over to the one camera in the room he waves at it and then it is visible that the shutter on the camera closes and it seems to go back into the ceiling. Turning back to her he walks over to the door and locks it before walking next to her side and grabs her hand. "You've been through a lot... but you're safe now..." the slight look of water pools under his eyes before he starts to tighten up his face and closes his eyes, "You... are.... Safe..." the single tears stroll done his face as he wiped them away with his thumb.

[Averie Demix]

Averie curls up against Dametrius. She hiccups. Then she half-way closes her eyes. "I am sorry I ran away... I... I think I lost our daughter. I am so sorry." She says tears still falling. She still thought it was 2012.

[Dametrius]

Dametrius shook his head as he sat down on the edge and held her hand, "No you didn't... she lived... she's alive and well... you've been out of it for a little while but she's grown up now..." Putting a hand on her head he gently smiled. "What do you remember?" he said softly.

[Averie Demix]

She relaxes in her bed trying to figure everything out. "I remember... you did something that upset me... but I took my medicine... I was getting ready to go to bed when... there was blood everywhere. I was so scared that I was going to upset you... that you would hate me... then... driving off with Adam."

[Dametrius]

Dametrius nods and looks down, "You did upset me... but not because you believed you lost the child... but because you ran away with him.... for a couple hundred years.... you ran away with Adam...." Dametrius stood up and stared at the wall before turning around. Anger lingered upon him for just a little bit before it vanished. "I was different... yes... but the most important thing to me was you..." Walking over he put a hand upon her cheek and smiled, "you paintings... you care for those humans... your arguments... even if it seemed I disliked it... it kept me close to my humanity.... close to what I knew I was..." His hand slid off her face as it found a home behind his back holding the other. "Everything about you reminded me that I was just... mortal."

[Averie Demix]

Averie seemed caught, "A... few hundred years? How? How is that possible? No." She shakes her head fear showing in her eyes. "No. No. This happened when I... when I was leaving here."

[Dametrius]

Dametrius pulled out a phone and the wall opened up to a screen, Playing around he brings up news stories, images. "I've done bad things my dear..." he said as he stared at it. Dametrius taking control of the world, the wars, the slaughter of humanity and enslaving them. "It's been a long time..." Shortly after that he turned off the stream and seemed to fiddle with something, pulling up a video he said nothing in response to her before playing it. It was a video of Adam and Ave leaving the facility, stopping it he played another one that showed them years later, stealing something from brightblood and kissing passionately. "It goes on..." he said sternly turning it off as the wall closed back up and he put his phone away. "I refuse to let you out of the room without you realizing that it is not the early two thousands... I've seen the culture shock before..." He tried to touch her head but retracted his hand a few inches from it. "I'm... sorry... for everything you've been through..."

[Averie Demix]

Averie looks at Dametrius, "But... Adam he loves Allesandra. I... I love you. Why would we?" She covers her ears and huddle up. "What happened? What happened to me Dametrius? Why am I? Why do I have no memory of the past few hundred years?!" She asks looking at him fear that she was completely broken. Her heart still though longed for Adam in one form or another, yet was somehow happy to be with Dame.

[Dametrius]

Dame stands there and places his hand on her head, moving a few strands of hair out of her face and around her ear. "Magic muddied up your mind... the child we believed was lost returned and traumatic events caused you to have this happen.... it was not what happened to you... more so..." he moved his hand and looked upset. "What happened to me that caused you to run away..."

[Averie Demix]

Averie moves so that she is leaning against him still afraid and her body is shaking. Her eyes half open. "So... where is our child then?" She asks warily.

[Dametrius]

"Nameless..." he replied without skipping a beat as if expecting it. "She had an effect on you and I want to study her interactions before introducing her back... Our youngest twins are in the room next to us... I don't know if my mother is there or not... she comes and goes as she pleases...." shaking his head he turns to her. "I swear she will spoil those children... make them soft..." he groaned as he rubbed his face.

[Averie Demix]

Averie froze up for a second, "Nameless... twins... your mom...?" Sky walks in and sticks her tongue out, "Of course I'm going to spoil them... I doubt I will see Elysia's child, and as far as I know Belle has no plans of having any and neither does Beth or Dragomir." She looks at Averie then back to Dame, "Does she remember anything?"

[Dametrius]

Dametrius growls, "I've tried mother... Belle... I love her but she's as stubborn as yourself..." he said with seriousness as he walked over and hugged his mother. "She remembers nothing past her escape with mister helviath..." Looking back at Ave he smiled and then back to his mom. "I bet I could see Elysia's child..." he say with a cheeky grin.

[Averie Demix]

Sky sticks her tongue out at him, "Your little stunt is what may keep me from seeing my grandchild. As I am sure Mr. Tenebris does not want you to have anything to do with his child... and as the rules are now... Ely can't raise the child." Sky clicks her tongue annoyed.

Averie coughs and shakes her head, "How much... where did the bruises come from?" She asks. Sky sighs, "With that I should take my leave, but I am taking the twins shopping."
