Frideswide's shop in Beijing, China was a hub for alchemists. It was full to the brim with rare and sometimes quite old ingredients and the woman was always working on something. Things hadnt changed much from when she was a young alchemist and even now she occasionally ran into familiar faces. She was leaving the shop at the moment to enter the markets, humming as she walked.

[Tursac Fescarn]

The Hime 1 pulls into port and Tursac hops off on to the pier as they tied it down. While the ship seemed to be in prime condition, it tended to make a lot of noise which made his ears ring. "Stay with the ship, boys, I'm gonna see if I can't locate som'ne" he hoped there'd be someone who spoke enough english to help him out and approaches the dock master "can ya help me? do ya speak english? I'm tryin' ta find a woman named Friedswide"

The dock workers knew Frideswide. She had been in the area for years and merchants from the docks often delivered to her shop. It was further mainland but they did their best to explain it to him, eventually just offering to let im hitch a ride there as some did know a bit of english.

[Tursac Fescarn]

Tursac was glad to hear that someone was able to take him to her very doorstep. He wondered if she would remember him after it being so long. For him it would be if he could keep from breaking down with all the memories he had with her before he met Amore. He hops into the offered cart and lets them take him to his desired destination, smoothing his hair back as best he could just so he wouldn't look like a ruffian when he saw her again.

As they stop at her place he hops out and thanks them, offering a little coin from the change he had leftover from buying his outfit, and then goes to knock on the door. The next question crossing his mind, what if she's not home?

Poor Tursac was in a bind as Frideswide wasnt home, but she left a note on the door that read 'Out to market, leave shipments in back' Frideswide luckily lived in downtown Beijing so it was very easy to find the market but still for Tursac it seemed the journey was continuing. Luckily Frideswide was busy in the market and wouldnt be moving off again too soon.

Tursac looks at the note and groans softly "That woman could spend all day in a market" he mutters to himself. He glances around and decides to follow the traffic to see where it would take him. He asks some of the people passing by "'ave ya seen miss Friedswide that way?"

Despite not always speaking english the people tursac crossed knew the very distinct name of Frideswide and were eventually able to point out a woman who stood out by the goggles on her head. She hadnt changed a whole lot in all the years that went by, though to Tursac it really wasnt very long..

Tursac smiles a bit as he finally catches sight of the familiar goggles atop the woman's head and makes his way over to her "'Scuse me miss. Do you need a hand with anythin'?" he asks. "Ya look like you've got your hands full there"

Frideswide held a crate of bottles and rough gemstones for some of her more elaborate spellwork when a voice called out to her offering her some assistance. She smiled and turned to the source of the voice but when she saw who it was she screamed and dropped the crate. she remembered tursac, remarkably, she was a sharp woman so not a lot of memories were los to her like others of her age might be. "Oh gods ive gone loony!"

He jumped as the woman screamed but he reached to catch the crate before it hits the ground, not wanting anything in it to break on his account. "Ya ain't goin' looney Miss Friedswide. If anyone be goin' crazy it's me. But I've 'ad some questions answered so I know I'm not insane." he shifts the box in his hands until he had a better grip on it

Only one man ever called Frideswide 'Miss' Frideswide and that made seeing her ex standing there a little less insane. they had left in decent terms after Tursac sorted himself out but it was still awkward seeing him now after so long, looking like nothing had changed. "Well uh, thats good Tursac, that we're not insane but .h-how are you standing here now how did you managed to track me down and how do you look like you did when i met you??" she exclaimed. By now she grasped his forearms and gave, or tried to give him a shake, just as feisty as ever.

Tursac was a rock of a man and barely moved as she tried to shake him but he could feel the energy she put into the effort. "Slow down Miss Friedswide. I'll try ta explain it all when we get back to yer place. I would hate ta think everyone 'ere listenin' might lock me up fer insanity"

frideswide, ever curious, gave Tursac a solid pokke to the chest to confirm he was real. She exhaled slowly as she calmed down and gave the fisherman a solid nod. "right, come with me then." She spun about and lead him right back to her shop, but they were scarcely there and she was still opening the door when she started asking questions. "How did you find me?"

The man couldn't keep from laughing as she started asking questions before she even had the door open. Not even an offer for a drink. But he couldn't blame her really. He'd likely have responded in similar fashion if someone long thought dead suddenly appeared on his doorstep. "Akusai told me ye'd be out 'ere on the mainland. After I got 'ere I simply asked 'round. Seems yer a popular woman in these parts"

The plucky woman brought Tursac inside and lead him upstairs to her living quarters. She ushered him to a table. "Sit sit. Oh akusai?" she asked as she moved to the fridge. this was one of many appliances that tursac would be marvelling at in the modern world. "Its lucky that you can into him first." the alchemist set a glass bottle of soda before the fisherman and sat with one of her own. She reused them for potions. "so tell me, what happened?"
