Good Old-Fashioned Lover Boy

Mikhail's heavy hand bore down on Akusai's door in a series of three gentle knocks. Once he was granted entrance, the Russian walked in and slowly shut the door behind him. He looked around, ensuring the office was empty, and slipped his hands into his trouser pockets. He'd recently showered so his hair was still damp with one persistent piece dangling across his forehead. His crisp shirt, pressed and cuffed as always, was one button off down the trail. He'd tucked his shirt into tailored black trousers, but when he walked (and one was paying attention), he was visibly wearing two different colored socks. Mikhail was a mess, but it certainly didn't show on his stoic Russian face. Only in those green pools could a very new emotion for the doctor be seen: fear.

"Ak-Akusai?" he asked quietly, his voice breaking off at the beginning, forcing him to clear his throat and try again, "I vas vondering if I could talk to you."

Akusai looked his usual businesslike self. His expression was the stiff serious 'Im scary now' one that he took on whenever he ad work to do. Today he was on his computer looking over the income records for all his clubs, as well as seeing who employees deserved a bonus. He wanted to give Momo one just for being the japanese Mikhail. When the real deal walked in he looked up and the frown snapped into a bright smile. It was funny to think that Akusai's charisma dwarfed Mikhail's by so much and he was still utterly beguiled by the man. "Mikhail-kun, ohh fresh from the shower, are we going to have fun?" he cooed .

Mikhail stared across the room at Akusai, at that smile, and he immediately wanted to walk out of the room again. He couldn't do this. There was no way. In his head he willed Aku to just not talk for the next five minutes - it would be easier that way - but just then Aku suggested something, well, suggestive. Mikhail lost all sense of guidance.
"Please, just. . ." He shook his head and crossed the room, taking a seat not in a chair, but on the edge of Aku's desk. He swallowed, hands still in his pockets. "I vas zinking. Ve have been togezer long time." The more nervous he got, the worse his English got. "Vat if zat changed?"

Akusai despite taking on a scarier line of work hadnt exactly become less cheeky. He was working on an alliance with the chinese mafia while managing his clubs and dealing with more gods than the average man, but still when a polished russian doctor sat on the edge of his desk like a saucy secretary he slid his hand over, so itching to tease him by crabbing freshly scrubbed behind. He stopped as the man's english started to deteriorate. "Yes we have been..wait what do you mean if it changed? ah have i gotten fat, do you not like me??'

Mikhail sighed heavily and removed his right hand from his pocket, setting it on top of Aku's to keep it still. "Nyet, stop. Let me talk. . ." He took a deep breath. When he tried to lower his gaze to Aku's face, he found it so hard. He knew the actor's eyes were on him, curious and soulful, and Mikhail's green gaze was no match.
"I meant. . .ve have been as ve are for long time, viz no changing in status. Ve have raised one child togezer, no zere vill be more. I vant to do it right vay." He slid off the side of the desk and got down on both knees in front of Aku.
He put his left hand on Aku's knee and pulled his right from his pocket. At that moment, his shaking hands would become obvious as he revealed a small box from the confines of his pants. He was a surgeon - his hands never shook.
"I vant. . .I vould li-- Aku. . ." Words had escaped him at this point, so he quite simply managed a hopeful, "Da?"
He flipped the box open with his thumb and turned it around to he could see - the ring that sat inside was delicately etched with beautiful cherry blossoms. All along the edges, however, were evenly-spaced teeth - tiger teeth. It was as if Aku and Mik had come together in one single piece of jewelry.

Akusai had not realised what was going on at first. He was completely absorbed simply in Mikhail's peculiar behavior. He was stammering, shaking and when he got on his knees he noticed the mismatched socks. Like a tsunami coming down against the shore it all seemed to violently crash down around Akusai. Mikhail Stankov, who defied death by making a replacement mikhail body, just so he wouldnt be another lover of Akusai's who died and left him behind, was presenting him with a ring. Of course Akusai's response was no better than Mikhail's He unleashed one of his characteristically feminine screams. "Watashi wa sore o shinjite inai!!!" he exclaimed forgetting 90% of the languages he knew, and now she shook as he slowly extended his teeny hand and as fat happy tears oozed from his red eyes and destroyed his makeup he squeaked out "DA!"

The feeling you get from an elevator descending too quickly was the feeling Mikhail had in his stomach. It was dreadful. It felt like he was waiting forever for Akusai's reply. But then it came. . .it came very loudly - how could he ever miss it? He said yes!
That was it. All of the anxiety washed away from the Russian. He broke into a beautifully wide smile, so big it hurt his face, and giddily slipped the ring onto Aku's dainty finger. Then he got to his feet and yanked him from his chair, pulling him into his arms, peppering his face and messing his makeup further with an array of kisses. Happy wasn't the word to describe Mikhail. He'd never been so joyous.
"я тебя люблю. бог, я люблю тебя," he whispered, setting Aku down on the top of his desk. He didn't let him go, however. "Ve vill have beautiful babies, and you vill be my beautiful partner forever." There were more kisses, more smiles. Many more smiles.
The Kyoushi household was about to sound WAY more intimidating with a Russian name tacked onto the end of it.

akusai didnt even have a moment to admire the ring before he was suddenly swept up into the arms of a very happy Mikhail. Which wasnt to say he wasnt overjoyed but the man was always business and stern and it made his affection that much more impactful. so as he was assaulted with the most glorious smile he ever saw, and a seemingly endless barrage of bearded kisses he had to struggle just to react. Then he began to laugh . this was amazing, and this just seemed so much better than the last time someone did this for him. There was so much joy. "Ahh Mikhail, so many babies, so many years, we will never be apart like we were again. You, you are special you always were!" he squealed, imagining them not growing old together and thinking of Mikhail in a fancy suit. "Oh oh Mikhail!" he clamped his hands around the happy man's face and looked into his eyes. "How does this sound. Kyoushi-Stankov, great right??"

Mikhail liked how Aku's little hands came around his bearded face, mimicking a move the doctor often made on Aku. "I zink it sounds perfect. It is perfect. You are perfect."
The Russian took one of the mob boss's hands and clutched it to his own chest. "Ven do you vant to get married? Who vill do ceremony?" Then he asked the big question: "Vat vill you wear?"

Akusai went red as his hand grazed Mikhail's chest. Ohh this was dangerous territory, he might make him play secretary and boss , or doctor and nurse. He was snapped out of his bear daze however by the series of questions. "Oh wow, soon soon, but i need to pick the colors and dresses and cake and find you a tux and AH WHAT TO WEAR!" his hands slid to Mikhail's shoulders. "A wedding kimono to die for! what else, oh, maybe hana would like to come, and Nadja, i dont know what her address would be..and Nesirae and Tursac and Kaze and Xuan He and wow i have so much to do!" he clapped his hands together and then pulled the good good doctor into a kiss and then kept their foreheads pressed together. "Oh you have to pick a best man and i need a maid of honor, and a ring bearer." akusai now could not stop his planning tangent.

Mikhail laughed a genuine, deep, wholesome laugh. "Akusai, ve have time to plan all zis. Ve could get married on stage, in front of theatre audience. . .our best show?" He pulled his forehead away from Aku's to kiss the man's hairline. "It does not matter ven, how, who viz, all I care about is being husband at end of day." His right hand had been inching up Aku's leg as he spoke, so when his sentence was over, he stood straight and pulled Aku into his arms.
"For now. . .ve go rehearse post-wedding dance," he suggested.

Akusai listened as Mikhail spoke, reminding him of the theater he loved and the idea of making his wedding like a grand stage production. It was almost overwhelming to the little boss. He didnt even utter a word until Mikhail had already laughed, kissed his forehead and unleashed a barrage of heavily accented romantic words that radiated with his genuine happiness. He was happy to be with aku, and nothing felt better to the demon than that. "Post wedd- before he could finish asking if he met dance or 'daaance' the strong doctor hand had already inched up his leg adn, well you didnt have to tell an incubus twice. "Ohh yess, that's very important because..yes.."

Mikhail spun around with Aku in his arms and headed for the door. Momo headed in just at that moment, but Mikhail slipped by with the boss and said simply, "Busy," before making off down the hall.
