Alora
Who do you work for?:
Independent
Theme song:
'Songs of Earth, Water, Fire and Sky' by The Music Box of Wind
Physical/Psychological Description:
Alora looks like a young girl, slight of build and stature. She is shy and does prefer to keep to herself as well. Though unlike a typical girl she can hear the elements and considers them to be closer to her than any person could ever hope to be. She would likely be found out in the wilderlands rather than on the streets of a sprawling city and considers herself a voice for the world that cannot speak so openly as she.

Background:
Alora was born in the days before the vampire attacks. A world that was far more inviting. She was raised in a small village of elemental shamans, teaching her the ways of the elements. Her mother was one of the head shamans of the village and she never really knew her father though she learned later on that she had the blood of an earth elemental in her veins, which explained how she could almost feel the heartbeat of the ground she walked on. She grew up loving the world of nature and learning more of the elemental powers.
As she got older she learned she had even further powers and studied all forms of magic including light and dark and even learning how to control her own form, from looking like other people to taking on forms of items like weapons and armor. It was these abilities that had others desiring her for their own to use as they desired. A warlord came and attacked the village and took her and several of the other shamans for his own personal collection. She and the others were put into isolation away from each other, bound in such ways that would prevent them from being able to call upon the elements for aid. During her imprisonment Alora learned the gift of song to occupy her mind. She would sing stories of her memories to help keep them fresh in her mind so they would not be forgotten. Though even time wore on that, though she was not aware of just how much time had passed. She only knew seasons passed like days sometimes in her thought. There were times that it was her songs that helped to keep her sane. It was hard to say just how long it had been since she'd been placed inside her cell and was unaware of the events that had taken place. But one day as she made pleas to anyone that might be listening for help, she heard a sound outside her door but unable to look out she could only hear hoarse, inhuman cries as something seemed to be going on just outside. She bangs on the door, hoping whoever it was would let her out... and moreso that they wouldn't try to take her as a prize. As she stood there, she heard a groan of metal and the door was suddenly wrenched free off its hinges and there stood a woman the likes she had ever seen. Along with the strange woman was even the stranger sight of the once immense dungeon had been reduced to rubble along with the rest of the keep. How long had seen been in that cell? There was no telling but she could feel it had been far longer than a few years. But that didn't matter. She was free now and so grateful that she offered eternal gratitude to her savior. She was asked to help aid the woman through the binding of her soul to the woman to allow her to walk the land more freely. She agreed to this and so the pact was made, unlocking new potential within her.
Finally able to travel and see the world she strikes out to see what had changed since her capture. She found the world to be a slightly different place. Her tribe long since been wiped out left her without anyone of kin to her. And the cities she ventured were scary and the people there unsavory. She decided to travel more than stay, living out a nomadic existence in hopes that she might find a place to settle down and call home. As the years passed she spent more and more time with her friend and companion who had saved her from the time prison, deciding she was as close to family that she had any more. Eventually even they had to part ways and Alora went to live her life in the mountains, away from the spread of civilization to try and recall her lost memories. More years pass and she finally decides to venture out once more to see what has become of the world beyond her home.
