Our Past Life (Dark)

[Rayleen Cel'Frumos]

-This rp takes place in the past.-

Rayleen was in bed with her beloved Dark, the night before had been a rough and long night that had went on into the day as well. They had managed to piss each other off which wasn't that abnormal for them, what was, was the cuddling that happened afterword. She opens her eyes and stands up putting on one of his black T-shirts. Debating whether she wanted food or the speed she had in her bag more. The sucky times for them really happened if either of them ran out of money to keep up their fix, even murder cost money. She licks her lips and sits down on the edge of the bed looking back at Dark.

["Dark"]

"Sunuvabitch", the fire elemental grumbled to himself after having put pressure on a bruise he had earned from the night before. Here was Danny complaining, again. Sometimes that's all he did besides curse at the only female he barely tolerated being near. His pale form shifted under the covers as he switched to laying on his stomach-trying to hide from the irritating back porch light that snuck through the blinds. Hiding his face into his pillow he groaned at the idea of waking up. Money had been an issue, and Dark's firearm had gone far too long on an empty round--in his own opinion. His feisty Lamborghini was his life's earnings and there was no way he'd trade it in to sate his trigger happy tendencies; that damn beast of a car was going to suck his bank account dry, not to mention the penthouse he had on the side. Too bad he'd have to have more fucks to give to actually care about his finances.

Rayleen ties up her hair and walks over to the blinds closing them the rest of the way. When they were closed it took her eyes a moment to adjust to the darkness. She walks back over to Danny and plays with his jet black hair, "We need to eat." She whispers making sure not to be too loud since chances were he had a wicked headache. Rayleen was thin, pretty, but a bit of a bitch, except to Dark. She stands up fixing the black shirt she was wearing before laying a pair of jeans on the bed for him. She'd get to putting on her clothes as well, eventually. Ray takes up her cell phone and checks her bank account, while one was damn near empty the other was pretty full. She lets out a sigh, she hated taking out of that account because it meant she would get a call from her brother asking if everything was okay. Which it wasn't... not really. She didn't want her brother to meet Dark, mostly for his own protection, and she was sure he wouldn't approve. She looks down at Dark and walks into the kitchen, opening the fridge she curses, "Fuck me... seriously?" She says looking at the complete lack of food that they had. She set her phone down, still open to her second bank account. Which currently showed over 40k in what she considered hush money. Don't tell anyone what mom and dad did to you and I will make sure you have a good life... that was exactly the circumstances wasn't it?

["Dark"]

The goth briefly tensed as his hair was messed with. It was something that had always bothered him, though lately he was getting more used to his girlfriend's touch. That and he was still a little buzzed from the alcohol he had consumed. Empty beer bottles met Dark's feet as he forced himself out of bed, nudging the brown bottles away before getting halfway dressed in the pants provided for him. His naturally hazel eyes lingered at the edge of her thighs, really admiring how she looked in one of his shirts; his eyes trailed after her when she departed from the room, and it was from the corner of his eyes that he swore he saw and felt something near his shoulder. The man looked pulled away and looked back quickly only to find nothing was there. "The shit?" he asked himself quietly, but shook his mess of black hair and proceeded into the kitchen like nothing had just happened.

He was greeted indirectly with a rather blunt,"Fuck me... seriously?". Danny paused, the dimming of Rayleen's cell phone catching his attention. "I swear if it's one of your dumbshit "friends" trying to chat with you--" he started to say as he picked up the cell phone only to realize the screen wasn't on her txt messages, and that he was looking a nice lump sum of cash. Had the blond tried to fetch her device back, Dark would merely dodge her attempts at getting it back."Where'd you get this?" he asked seriously, staring directly into her eyes.

Rayleen looks at Dark as he grabs her phone, she reaches out to get it but he was too fast for her to catch. "Fuck. It's money from my brother... about 10 grand for the past four months... well 5 months, but we spent the first months trying to fix your car." She says looking at him, "I got a call from my older brother asking if everything was okay, so I haven't touched the money since... I was thinking about going to go get a real job." She says sighing. Really who the fuck was she kidding though, she would never pass a drug test to get a job. Ray bites into her lip, she looks at Dark wondering if he was angry that she had hid that much money, and it wasn't like she had actually been hiding it, she just hadn't mentioned it because in her mind it was more trouble than it was worth, her phone started to vibrate in Dark's hand, the name that came up was Trevor Cel'Frumos along with a picture of a blonde pretty boy.

["Dark"]

The Ifrit kept his eyes pinned on the woman in front of him. There wasn't much of a glare from him but it was still present. The fact that she hadn't spent the cash on something else was sort of a relief, but then again if she was hiding that from him...what other secrets was the bitch keeping? "You better fucking tell me next time", he warned and then nearly dropped the vibrating cell phone when a call was trying to reach through. Dark only glanced at the name a few seconds before he shoved it back to Rayleen, standing there like he planned on listening to the entire half of her conversation. "Make it quick".

[Rayleen Cel'Frumos]

Rayleen takes the phone as it is handed to her and she nods. She answers the phone, "Hello Trevor, everything okay?" She asks. Her brother speaks for a moment and she stares off at nothing, "Really. Well she wouldn't want me there." She replies. Rayleen groans after another long pause, "Why would she have put me in her will?" She asks. Rayleen sits up on the counter watching Dark for a while, "What? The house? Trevor I'm not sure if you remember this but she kind of hated me..." After another round of her brother talking she sighs, "Yeah, when is it? Alright. I'll be there." There was another few words from her brother, "Trevor... please... please no. He can't be there... Ugh... fuck. Fine." She replies before running her fingers through her long blonde hair. "Alright. Love you too Trevor... tell Dylan and Joseph I said hi." She says before hanging up.

Rayleen looks at Dark and arches a brow, "Apparently my mother died. I was in her will... I have to go to the funeral. Don't know what the fuck I'm going to do with her house..." She replies. Rayleen unties her hair, "And now apparently I'm rich... her way of trying to apologize for everything she did according to Trevor." Rayleen runs her fingers through her hair again and again, "The only hitch is... the man I was supposed to marry is going to be there." Rayleen waited to see how Dark would react to that news.

["Dark"]

Most of the conversation Dark had blurred out from his attention--keeping an eye on Rayleen whenever she took a break in her dialogue, with whom the Ifrit could only assume was her brother. She had talked about him briefly before, and family was something the two of them never covered much, issues and whatnot.

"You're not doing a goddamn thing with any of it", he commented, biting at the inside of his cheek like he always did when something really rubbed him the wrong way. The mentioning of a funeral threw him off. Apathy showed on his face. Another question arose just as stoic,"What time?". By the sound of it Rayleen wasn't going to be allowed to go anywhere on her own now. She was getting money, more money...and that lessened the amount of control Dark had over her--which wasn't cool at all in his book.

Rayleen sits back on the counter and sighs, "Tomorrow at six." She replies before arching a brow, "We could give the house to my brother... though he'd insist on buying it... as for the money... seems too much like, 'Here is money, don't ruin my good name.' Ya know?" She asks looking at Dark, "I gotta go shopping there is no food in the house." She says before moving off of the counter, "Hey Dark, none of this really makes a difference in how I feel about you. If you want you can have the money... but I'd prefer it if it lasted us a while." She says before walking to their room throwing on a pair of panties, tight fitting jean shorts, a bra, tank top, her beanie, and then her tennis shoes, she assumed Dark didn't want to go since he was still hung over, of course Ray wouldn't object to him going. She puts on her make-up and uses some to cover up the bruises that he had given her.

["Dark"]

"We don't need another property.Got a penthouse up state. As for the money, I want it wired to my account". He went quiet looking from the fridge back to his girlfriend harshly,"...I'll do it myself. Just let me know when it comes in so I can deposit it to my account". Truth was she'd need to either withdrawal the amount her self or be there in person when he wired it, all because of legal issues. An exasperated sigh escaped his chest after she had departed from the kitchen, his back still pressed against the counter. Dark felt like shit. With a headache slowly growing into a migraine the last thing he desired to do was leave his house.

Dark let the other words sink in as he stared off into space--in the same area he last saw Rayleen before she vanished around the corner. They may have had their tough times but she was really something special to him. Nothing like Selene, but maybe that was a good thing.

After some time the man got impatient and left the kitchen, returning to his bedroom. In one swift motion he pinned Rayleen to the wall merely seconds after she had gotten her makeup done, staring into her eyes when he gave her a gruff delayed response that consisted of a deep kiss, different from the usual precursor to him beating her up. "Better fucking wait for me", he ordered in a slight teasing but mostly serious manner. He let the blond woman go just as abruptly and quickly threw on a black shirt, his steel-toed boots. The usual goth makeup he wore felt like too much effort to do right now, so he was going to make do without it. when that was all done he made a motion with his hands. "Keys, now". Dark wanted to be the one driving...yeah, sometimes he didn't put alcohol, a migraine and driving together as a bad idea.

Rayleen gasps as she is pinned against the wall, she kisses him back moaning. Ray nods and watches him get dressed when he ordered the keys from her she shakes her head, "Not going to happen, you are still hung over and I can tell from the way you wince that you have a migraine, not safe for you to drive, besides you hate my car." She says moving toward the door, hoping to the gods that she can get to it before he pulls her back.

["Dark"]

It was true, Dark despised her vehicle. The Aston Martin was too bumpy of a ride and the handling on it was even worse. He could have chalked it up to being used to driving his own car 90% of the time, but wasn't going to. No, he knew his Lamborghini was better for a fact--even if she proved him wrong again and again. But for the life of him, as much as he hated her transportation, he was going to drive that damn thing. No way in hell was he going to allow her to put groceries in his backseat...despite everything else that had once been there.

Dark let her get as far to the front door as she could, actually letting her reach to open it, before snagging the back of her hair and pulling her in reverse towards his body as much as he could. "I wasn't fucking asking", he growled trying to ignore the ceaseless pounding against his cranium.

Rayleen yelps as he pulls her hair and she is back to chest against him, "while I understand that I'm not letting you get us both killed because you have a fucking headache. Fuck that." She knew she was pushing it but she did enjoy living.

["Dark"]

The god of insanity was notorious for his short temper. Just how short was it? Well, short enough that when Rayleen had refused a second time to obey him, he not only shoved her against the door, but he also pulled the blond hard enough by her hair so that she was laying on the floor. With his hand gripping around her throat, it would be difficult for her to breathe but still manageable for her to talk--possibly enough to leave minor bruising hours later. "God damn fucking bitch". Seems Dark was really in a mood this afternoon; his cursing though was split between the pain he was feeling and the disrespecting woman he was straddling, his free hand against his forehead as the look of pure pain riddled his normally vacant face. Whether or not she said anything, the Ifrit would reluctantly pull himself away from his girlfriend in hopes his brain wouldn't implode from the migraine.

She gained a small victory this time-though the fight wasn't truly over. It never was until either he beat submission into her or she managed to draw his blood...or any combination of the two. "Drive the motherfuckin scrap mobile", he said as he leaned against the opened front door, letting another harsh," Shit...", sound from his lungs. There was masochistic pain, and then there were migraines. Nevertheless, the goth would follow after Rayleen if and when she decided to get to her fancy sports vehicle like nothing had happened between them, though the bitter look in his eyes gave their little domestic dispute away.

Rayleen was shocked when she was on the floor and his hand was around her throat, thankfully she had learned to breath through it. She waits until he gets off of her. "I have some pain meds in the car." She replies and stands up fixing her clothes, "Come on." She says and gets into the car. She knew it wasn't over and that the chances were tonight was going to go a lot like last night. Once he is in she drives to the store, assuming nothing interesting happened she would drive to the pizza place grab some food and back home. Once home she puts all the groceries away. She looks back at Dark, she had given him some pain meds and hopefully that would lighten his mood.
