Once in a Lifetime (open to all)

Yuku gave him a soft nod. <I understand, your information is very precious to you, but i could never recruit anyone without knowing the whole truth. Just the same I like your integrity and I wish there was in fact a way we could work together in the future, without compromising either of us in the process>his smile flashed on his face once more <Tell you waht, do you ever travel?>

[Ptolemy Khaldun]

"Technology's a wild thing. I'm sure in the future we'd be able to work with each other without fear of that happening." Ptolemy looked up as the rain seemed to stop. The grey clouds were being pushed out of the way by darker clouds. "I travel on occasion. From here to Egypt and only the places in between." He said looking down at Yuku. "Would you like to go somewhere else? The dark clouds are going to ruin the tranquil mood i came out here to get."

[Yuku]

Yuku gave a cordial nod. <That would be fine, do you have a preference?> Yuku was intrigued by the idea of the man occasionally travelling. Maybe he could show him Midgard as it was under contruction. He sought input from a great many distinguished individuals that lacked a bias.

[Ptolemy Khaldun]

Ptolemy shrugged and began walking out of the park. "Not really. A place with food'd be great though." As if on queue, his stomach gave a quiet rumble. "Even more of a preference would be any place that sells tomatoes, but any kind of food would be good about now."

[Yuku]

Yuku just about lit up. <follow me> he asserted as he started across the park towards the line of shops across the street. <I own a shake shop here, im building a franchise in my latest project and they have good food..maybe we can get you a tomato sandwich made special> Yuku despite being serious about business, liked seeing people satisfied and he didnt particularly fear vampires, not even the leaders or Dametrius.

[Ptolemy Khaldun]

Ptolemy followed Yuku to the shops, kicking his heels once they got onto the pavement. "A shake? As in a milkshake? I haven't had one of those in quite some time. Maybe... seventy years now." He said, having had to look up to help remember, and to let the rain fall directly onto his face again.

[Yuku]

Yuku began to laugh but it sounded oddly melodic with his vocaloid voice. <You should never go so long with out my friend!> he exclaimed as he ushered him into the shop. Even if he liked the rain he still worried about leaving him out in it. He went to the counter and 'spoke' in a hushed tone. He looked back at Ptolemy and winked. <Double tomato sandwich aaand what flavor shake? > Yuku had a sweetness to him that you didnt often see in big business, but he was only two, despite looking like he was in his early twenties, and had a certain childlike innocence.

Ptolemy followed him into the shake shop and shook the water from his hair. "Work and a few undesirables prevent me from getting them that often. Besides, they wouldn't be much of a treat if i had them often" He said, making his way to a seat and sitting down after taking off his shirt." Just a vanilla shake will do." He called, wringing the water out of his shirt onto the floor as he looked around the place.

Yuku made the ordering, getting god knows what for himself, no doubt a lengthy order regardless. He returned an sat in the booth style seat across from the Egyptian vampire. It was a nice little place, resemblinf a diner and in Midgard there was another like it being built. <You must be very busy. Its nice though to see you can take some time out to enjoy the rain or to grab a bite. Ive never met a vampire who -wasnt- busy though> he laughed.<What did you say you did?>

[Ptolemy Khaldun]

Ptolemy put his arm on the back of his seat as Yuku approached and sat down in the seat across from him. "I do programming for businesses." He placed both of his elbows on the table and rested his head on his hands. "Why do you want to know?"

[Yuku]

Yuku gestured around himself and every smart phone every patron around them was using rung out in a computerized voice. <I want to see what we have in common.> He then winked. <You see, even if you dont wish to work with me, connections are still connections. Each one is precious so I dont want to see us have this meal and chat and then fade to nothing. It is something ive learnd from my boss, to not take any one you meet with a grain of salt.> By the time he finishes speaking their meals arrived. Ptolemy, was bestowed with a shake and a heavenly massive triple layer tomato sandwich. yuku opted for a burger nearly as big as him, and considering that he was slight of build, being a rogue, it was a wonder he could take a bite of it. <Looks good right??>

[Ptolemy Khaldun]

Ptolemy flicked off the top of the sandwich and picked up one of the tomato slices. "Well, i'm as ordinary as they come..." He pops the potato slice into his mouth as all the phones in the building rung out. <I can do this too you know>. "And the intelligence of Mr. Alexander Gale never ceases to amaze me. If someone has a use to them, keep in contact with them, and keep on their good side." He leans over and takes a sip from his shake.

Yuku nodded and took a huge bite of his burger. The beauty of technopathy was he could 'speak' while stuffing his face. <see? you get it. I thought I would be in soo much trouble when I broke into his building. He didnt waste time with something so trivial though, such as punishment, which would have made me fear him and couldve hurt me and impeded my abilities. He just offered me a job. The mutual trust built up into something great. I hope we can trust one another. Oh and try the shake!>
