Mother and Child (Narcisa & Clot)

[Toksyck Riot]

(This rp takes place in the past in a different reality.)

Riot like any mother only wanted what was best for her child, well children. She had four, one was living with her deceased lovers family, the other three though we're not that lucky. Like Riot they were trapped. Riot had spent the entire day prior being beaten and abused by the man she loved just so he could hear her screams. When nightfall came though and the children would be waking up, Riot got dressed fixed herself up and went into the room of her youngest child, her beloved daughter Narcisa. "Ira love. Time to get up." She says gently to the child, calling her by a nickname of her middle name. Riot brushes black hair out of the child's face, she was only about six at the time, and was only starting to learn about the monster that is her father.

Riot holds her daughter close as she starts to wake up, the female is still sore, but thankfully she had managed to get all of the blood out of her green hair. She closes her pink eyes for a moment just holding her daughter, "Do you want waffles Ira?" She asks quietly, inwardly she prays that Ace had fallen asleep.

Narcisa quietly blinked awake and looked up at her mother, having kicked the blankets away in her sleep, and just stared in that slightly bewildered not-yet-aware-of-what's-going-on look. But then Riot picked Ira up and held her, and her little arms slid around her mother's neck. The thought of waffles was wholly appealing to the six-year-old, whose head rested gently against Riot's shoulder. "And juice?" she suggested, twisting her little fingers into Riot's green hair.

Riot looks down at her small daughter and smiles looking like she is thinking, "You want juice too? Hm... I don't know that is asking for an awful lot." She says playfully. She tickled the girl for a moment before helping her out of bed. "Alright get yourself dressed you can pick the waffle shapes today since your brother and sister are sleeping in." She kisses the top of Ira's head. Ira would be able to see another cut on her mother they had been showing up more and more recently. Riot heads into the kitchen before a dizzy spell hits her.

There were giggle fits and little pajama-clad wiggles while the tickling commenced. Her few minutes of being awake had already been perfect, as they were spent with her mother. And the idea of being able to pick out her OWN waffle shapes was just TOO good.
She hopped out of bed and got dressed, pulling on little princess leggings that had tiaras on them, and a blue shirt that didn't match her pants (that she also managed to put on backwards). She followed her mother out of the bedroom, her smile fading when she saw the cut. "Mama?" she asked, looking at Riot's arm. "Mama, you got a boo boo." She looked up at her mother, frowning. She looked incredibly expectant. "You okay?"

Riot looks at her arm and winces, "Yeah I cut myself on the edge of my dresser last night." Not a complete lie, the cut was from the dresser, Riot felt it was never okay to lie to your children. Riot gets her daughter up in hernseat, she wraps her arm and kneels so that her daughter can reach the cut, "Will you kiss it better Ira?" She asks smiling at her, "Your kisses are magical." Riot says with a proud smile. Once that was done she starts putting together the ingredients, "Alright what shape today? And... what flavor juice?" She says with a gasp. Riot loved watching her Ira make decisions.

Narcisa mustered all of the concern a child could gather and frowned at her mother. "Mama, you really clumsy lately," she warned. The last thing she wanted was for Riot to fall and really hurt herself. She had no idea of the terror the woman faced when her children were asleep.
Ira kissed the wrapped injury and leaned back in her chair, feet swinging happily. "Ummm. . .hearts!" she exclaimed, watching her mother work. "And orange juice!" It was quiet in the house, and while she didn't mind that her siblings were asleep, there was one person in attendance who piqued her curiosity. "Where daddy is?"

Riot looks at her daughter and smiles sadly, "He is sleeping hasn't been feeling good today, after your siblings leave for school why don't we go to the park and have a picnic. We can spend all night outside of the house." She kisses her daughters cheek setting the plate down at the table. Her brother and sister wander out of their room. Her older brother was becoming more like their abusive father. He looks at his little sister and glares. Riot didn't know about how mean he was to Ira, though her older sister tried to stop it she had since given up. She gives a plate to both of her older siblings, the older brother looks at Ira as her mom leaves the room for a little bit to get everything ready, "Have you told mom?"

Ira enjoyed the moments spent alone with her mother. When her siblings entered the room and Riot left, Ira got quiet. She sat in her seat and ate her waffles, staring intently at an almost-empty plate. If she didn't look at her brother, maybe he wouldn't be mean to her today. Every day she tried a new technique. . .be nicer, smile more, give him her toys. . .but he didn't seem to care, and her sister wasn't helping her out anymore. Narcisa took a drink of orange juice and nearly jumped when he started to talk to her.
"No, you told me not to tell Mama, and I pinky promised you. So I never said nothing to her." Her eyes darted to his face but didn't linger. She just kept staring at her waffles. "Can we be friends today?"

Jordan looks at his little sister, "Good. If you tell mom it will make it so much worse Narcisa." His sister who had kept the name the syndicate gave her, Genocide, looks at Jordan, "Leave her alone Jordan. She's six, pick on someone who can fight you back." Jordan smacks Genocide, and goes to hit Ira bur Genocide stepped in the way. She looks at Ira, "Ira I think mom is calling you. YOU Better Go check." This was Genocide's way of keeping her little sister away from the fight that was about to start but Riot walks in which causes Jordan to growl. Riot looks at Ira then the other two, she walks over to Ira and glares at Jordan. He knew he was in trouble when he got home, "School. Now. Jordan." She says. Genocide and Jordan get dressed and leave for school. "How long has been hurting you Ira? Why didn't you tell me?" She asks looking at her daughter's face worried. She kisses Ira again and again and again. "Still want to go for a picnic and get out of the house for the day?"

Ira reached out to try and grab Genocide, to at least try to pull her away from Jordan. She didn't want anyone to get hurt, and the fact that her sister had been slapped already upset her. "Leave her alone!" she shouted, tears welling up in her eyes. She set down her waffle and clung to her sister's hand, glaring through teary eyes at her brother. Why was he so mean to them?
When Riot entered the room again and diffused the fight, Ira felt immediate relief. . .but she knew it was only going to be temporary. As soon as Jordan got back from school, he was going to want to know all the details that she told mom, and if she told the truth. . .he would just hit her again.
"No, Mama, I just made him mad on accident. That's all." She stared at her plate. Lying to her mom felt wrong. Riot was the only solace Narcisa had. "We can go for a picnic now?" she asked, hopeful, trying to change the subject.

Riot knew that Narcisa was lying to her, and it hurt her but she knew why, it was the same reason that no one knew what happened between her and Ace. Riot had the thought then of taking Ira and running, to just continue to run and not stop. "Do you want to pick up Alex too?" Alex was Ira's half brother, he was much nicer than Jordan and adored Ira. Alex was a lot like his father which made him constantly worry about Riot and Ira. In fact Alex had plans to get a job and move Riot and Ira in with him. He hadn't told his mother yet, but he talked to Ira about it, planning out her dream house. Riot packs lunch and some toys waiting for Ira's answer as she got it all into her tesla.

"Alex!" she exclaimed, sliding out of her seat. She ran into her bedroom and found the pad of construction paper she often drew on. Inside was a picture she'd been saving. . .it was all of them standing in a row in front of the house (except Jordan, he was in the window with a frowny face) and they were holding hands. Ace and Riot had a heart drawn between their heads, and Alex, Geno, and Ira were all smiling. Ira gingerly clutched it to her chest. "I wanna give this to him, Mama, can I?" she asked, holding out the picture.

Riot had a horrible memory in every part of this house, and so her and Ira would go out a lot. Riot looks at the picture and smiles at it, that was how she saw the family? Ira saw Ace and Riot in love? Riot wanted to keep it that way. She holds back tears as memories of just the night before, when Ace had held her by the throat against the wall choking her while he had his way with her. Reminding her how he wanted another child, one that Riot wouldn't poison against him. He loved Ira, but Ira wasn't Riot and in Ace's mind that was a problem. "Alright let's go get Alex." She gets Ira in the car and buckled in. She drives to Alex's place and he is outside waiting for them. He jumps into the back seat with his half sister. "Hey there tiny tot. How are you today?" He asks kissing the top of her head, "We going to the park?" The teenage boy looks at his mom and puts his hand on her shoulder, "It will get better." Alex replies. Then back to Ira, "What have you been working on?"

Ira sat in her seat with the picture clutched to her chest, happy to be out of the house with her mother. They shared the same love for being outdoors. The house with her father and her siblings was her home. . .but together, Riot and Ira had made so many happy memories on picnics in the park. And the best thing about it was she didn't have to compete with Jordan and Genocide for attention.
"Alex!" Narcisa exclaimed when the teenager joined their excursion, little legs swinging in their seat. "Alex, I made this for you," she admitted shyly, offering up the construction paper portrait.

Alex takes the picture and looks at it, "Oh wow. I think I see an artist in the future."he says kissing the top of her head, "I love it." He says as Riot starts to drive off. "I brought my sketchbook so we can work more on our project, have you thought of how many bedrooms you want?"
