The Elf in the Family of Demons

[Amice Kyoushi]

Amice nods listening to the soothing voice her husband had, it always made her feel better. The poor girl felt tears fall down her face, "I'm so tired Tenshi, but... I want to go to our bed... maybe Ayden can set all of this stuff up in our room?" Amice was all about nature, but over the last few hundred years she had calmed down when it came to modern medicine and whether or not it should be used. She still wasn't perfectly comfortable, but she was now allowing IV's to stay without trying to rip them out. Ayden was in the library reading a book, waiting to see how Amice was doing.

[Tenshi]

Tenshi smiles and kisses Amice's head softly before speaking to her "I would love to take you to our bed" he says softly "I will go and speak to the good doctor and see what he says" he gets up from his spot and stretches, bending his spine in various directions to work out some kinks that had built up over the day from stress, before heading down the hall to locate Ayden. When he found the elf he leans against the door frame and knocks lightly "Hate to disturb you with your studies there my friend but Amice is requesting to be moved to our bed to rest. Is it possible for you to move the equipment there?"

[Amice Kyoushi]

Ayden looks up at Tenshi as he enters the room. He smiles and nods setting the book down, "Your library has grown more extensive than when I was last here." Ayden had once been a servant of Akutenshi's as a replacement for his brother, and had spent a good portion of his time studying here. He stands up and stretches, "Would you be able to carry her? Also a few servants so that I can do this all in one trip?" He asks. As long as he got what he needed he would walk into the room, unhook Amice from the IV and move it all to Tenshi and Amice's room. On the bed curled up in the dead center was their son and daughter, the daughter's wheelchair by the door. It was obvious they were worried about their parents but had fallen asleep waiting for them.

[Tenshi]

Tenshi nods and coms the servants quarters to have them come help Ayden move the equipment to their room so Amice could rest comfortably. He carries his wife to their room to find their children, who seemed to refuse to grow up (not that he was complaining), lay in the bed, asleep. He couldn't help but smile and walks over to lay Amice down on one side of them and taking off his armor as quietly as he could, letting Ayden set up the equipment once more while he washed up, not wanting to go to bed with blood on his hands.

[Amice Kyoushi]

Ayden looks at Tenshi as his wife starts to fall asleep, "She is strong of will Lord Kyoushi, but that is my biggest worry for her... she could have gotten herself killed by not giving into them..." Ayden clenches his jaw, "I worry that her being stubborn will be her downfall." A nursemaid comes in, "Please sire allow me to move the children back to their room so that you and the lady can sleep in peace and comfort." As long as she was allowed to, she would take the children to their room, their son waving sleepily. Ayden finishes getting Amice set up. "They will try again... I can feel it."

[Tenshi]

Tenshi lets the servant take the children after giving each on a soft kiss to see them off "Yes, I am not a fool to think that it would be a one time shot. My family is in danger Ayden. And I can't always be around to protect them. Which is why i must find whoever is behind this and put it to and end once and for all." he turns to look at the doctor "I will need to hire more guards to keep these halls safe." he sighs heavily, worn out from all the exertion he had done today. "But I will dwell on it in the morning. I must rest. You are welcome to remain here if you desire, or I can take you home"

[Amice Kyoushi]

Amice lays in their bed comfortable at last. Ayden nods and smiles, "I will stay, me and my friend can help... and I want to make sure that Amice is safe... I am worried about the swelling, try and get some sleep Lord Kyoushi, I will see to her again in the morning."

When morning came Amice wasn't waking up. Ayden got a message on his phone that something was wrong from the machines. He runs in not caring if Tenshi was awake, or undressed it didn't matter to him at the moment. He moves to Amice and holds one of her eyes open, he flashes a light into it, "Fuck fuck fuck." he says before picking her up and unhooking her. As best as he could, because they were almost the same height and weight it was difficult, he would run her back to the OR. Though would hand her to Tenshi if he wanted to carry her instead, "The swelling didn't go down, I'm worried that she may be slipping into a coma." He explains to his friend. Once she is laid down he starts to wash up, "Lord Kyoushi can you help me with this? I just need you to get the things that I will need to relieve the pressure. I think that she hit her head when she fell down that shaft." Suddenly they hear a click, like that of a gun, when they looked over there was a man with a gun pointed at Amice's head, "Let it happen... either the coma... or I blow her brains all over the OR floor." Ayden holds his breath, "Please... I need to help her I am a doctor." The man keeps his eyes on Akutenshi, "Where is your grandson?"

[Tenshi]

Tenshi had been awake for a little while and had mainly thought she had been overly tired from the night before. But as Ayden came bursting in he knew then that there was a problem. He would take Amice from the doctor and raced her down to the OR and proceeded to wash up with him "I will help in any way-" the sound of a gun made him stop and turn around. He growls softly, seeing red. "I won't tell you. I will not betray my grandson and I refuse to let you destroy that spark of life" he knew that if Amice fell into a coma, it may last a long time, maybe even be permanent. But to lose his grandson... that would have devastated him.

[Amice Kyoushi]

Ayden above all else was a doctor, his patients came first. No one would know it by looking at Ayden, and knowing his personality made it even less likely. Quickly he pulls his gun out and shoots the man in the hand, the gun clatters to the floor, "Grab it Tenshi." He says quietly keeping his gun aimed at the male, the man was glaring at Ayden, "I need him out of here... or else I can't work on her..."

[Tenshi]

Tenshi nods and moves to grab the gun. After he has it he tosses it over to Ayden and then grabs the man by the throat "I think I'll introduce this man to my daughter Kyoko. Take care of my wife Ayden. I'll have guards posted while you work" and start to drag the man out with him and orders the closest guards to watch over Ayden and his wife or they would be next to feel his wrath

[Amice Kyoushi]

Ayden gets to work and it's not long before he is able to relieve the pressure that had been growing. He sits back and waits, it was then while he had started to panic about failing that his friend appeared. The creature looks at the female. Ayden nods solemnly to the being that looked like the god of magic, "Help her..." He says. The creature looks back at him and Ayden nods again, "I know... do what you can..." The being reaches over and starts to heal the wife of Akutenshi. Then he is gone. Ayden whispers a thank you.

[Tenshi]

Tenshi continued down the hall and knocks on a door "Kyoko? Meet me downstairs in your chambers. I have someone I'd like to have you get to know a little" and with that he heads down to the dungeon floor "If I don't get what I want to hear from you that's fine, but no one messes with my family and lives without my vengeance coming upon them." and proceeds to strap him in to a chair "I think you'll find my daughter quite good at her work."

[Amice Kyoushi]

The man stutters as he is dragged by Tenshi, "What... the... I was told that the doctor was a pacifist, that you wouldn't risk your wife's life... what the fuck?!" He says as Kyoko walks in dressed in the same fashion as Amice. "What's going on?" She asks smiling.

[Tenshi]

Tenshi growls "You're lucky that he shot you. Had I had my way I'd have stuck you full of acid and watched you as you disintegrated from the inside out" with that said he turns to his daughter "This man apparently thought it would be worth his time to try and threaten Amice's life for information on where my grandson is." he shakes his head "I would like some information from him about who hired him." he then takes a moment to look over her outfit "My my... if you weren't my daughter"

[Amice Kyoushi]

Kyoko smirks looking at her father, "Well your wife did give me the outfit so..." Her eyes turn onto the male, the half-demon half-vampire dhampir simply smirked, "Will do." She says waiting to see if he was going to stay or if he was going to go see his wife. "Amice will need you when she wakes up."
