Raphael shrugged. "It all started really, as a way for me to really understand my madness. A lotof Malkavians i learned, are like that, seeking work in such fields to better understand themselves." He grinned as he leaned against his desk. "I got good enough at it to draw the eye of Serafim one of the oldest of the clan, and he handed down the position of clan leader to me because honestly any other of my clan going to meetings wouldnt work well.And of COURSe i still play, mon ami"

Yves smiles and moves further into the room, looking around "That is good to know my lessons have not gone to waste then" he gives a small laugh "We will have to play again some time. It's been a long time since I've had any partner skilled enough to keep up with me" he looks back to Raph "Well you must do your job well if you are the leader of the Malkavian's. Do you know who the leaders of the other clans are?" he asks curiously. Being on the move he had a hard time keeping track of politics these days

[Marista D'Sanguinatus]

Marista shoots Raphael a glare slightly hurt by his comment. That she had seen she was one of the most put together of the Malkavians. She doesn't say anything though, Marista was serene to a fault. It was the very reason Melody hated her so much. Speaking of the tiny sire, she hears the mention if Serifim and jumps, "Serefim?! Where? Not my grandsire... I think he is still mad at me!" She looks at Yves, "I accidently ate his childe... my sire."

Raphael scowled and shook his head. "My apologies Yves, its been great seeing you gaain..as for Melody..well, I dont want her here. I dont want melody here. I dont care WHAT act shes pulling shes made my life miserable. and dont Look at me like that!" he shouted at Marista. Clearly the overstimulation of this assembly was getting to the man."If you have soemthing to say you say it, dont treat me like im inept!"

Yves frowns a bit and holds Melody close "Very well Raphael, I shall take her with me when I leave. She needs someone to be a family to her. It seems you are unable to give her that" normally he wouldn't be so blunt, but Melody needed people to care about her and Rap's attitude toward her was unacceptable now as it was then. he looks to Marista "Think you can drive us back to town? I wouldn't want to overstay my welcome"

[Marista D'Sanguinatus]

Marista sighs and shakes her head, she looks at Raphael, "You are lashing out again. Calm yourself." She says in that soothing tone she has. She then looks to Yves, "Yeah I can drive you back. If you want I have a loft in town you and Mel can stay at after the sun rise."

Raphael snorted. "Yeah when shes all sweet its easy to want to care for her, when shes with me she hurts Marista. You're welcome here but she can kissed my foppish behind, Monsieur!" he snorted, breathing heavily out his nose until Marista started talking. He looked back at her. "No this isn't fair, I wanted Yves, we're supposed to play!"

Yves sighs softly and looks to Melody a long moment. He knew she was a loose cannon at times. But he knew that she needed someone to guide her for when she did step off that line. "Melody, how about you take a short nap. I'll come get you when I'm ready to leave. You can come with me and stay with me tonight. Would you like that?" he then looks over Raph, watching him in a stoic silence as he seemed to be starting to loose his composure "Raphael, relax my friend. We will still play"

[Marista D'Sanguinatus]

Marista waits and when Mel nods Mari picks her up. She smiles at Yves. "I will take her to my other home for a while... that way she is... as Raphael wishes not in his home." She takes the little sleepy Malkavian out of the room and unless stopped she would leave the home.

Raphael snorted but seemed to be coming down from the manic state at just the idea of the tiny malkavian leaving. When Marista left he snapped his gaze back to Yves. "She enjoys being sweet for you, but for me it is torment. You would not coddle her if you saw hoe shes tormented Marista. IT was because of her that we were first split apart and for her that a rift was caused between you and I. It makes my mind crack to think of how easily everyone forgets her wicked games."

Yves sighs and shakes his head "I am sorry that it feels like that for you. But apparently little Melody likes me enough to behave. Perhaps you should try being a little nice to her from time to time and maybe she would not seem so vicious?" he offered the notion as a friend, not to be condescending to his old friend and student. And while you think it was her... was it rather the fact you were hurt when you found out it was not I that was your sire?" he reaches down to pick up his case and moves to set it down on Raph's table "As for me, I am a man that tries to see the beauty in all creatures big and small"

Raphael shrugged softly at teh notion. "I would have liked you to be my sire, if only to know more peace but, if I am nice to that woman she will oblige until she grows bored and chooses to torment myself or MArista." he looked at his violin case on his desk and walked over to open it up. "This is why child vampire are dangerous beings. She can be childish but then use that youthful look as an end to her means.Ah im rambling, what do you want to play?"

"How about something from Bach? A lovely sonata." he looks over at Raph as he picks up his violin "I do love the classics." and smiles a bit, putting the matter of Melody out of the topic for now and focusing on the joys of music with his friend

"Oui, I could use a little music" Raphael was undeniably soothed by the prospect of playing music with his long time mentor. He lifted his violin and the two would seem transported through time, to went Raphael first learned the instrument so long ago. He went with sonata 2 and started to play, filling the office an house beyond with the sweet notes.

Yves was quick to pick up on the choice of music his student picked for their piece to share and was soon playing along with his old student, matching his pace and harmonizing his instrument, letting the notes echo through the area. Who knew how far their music would reach or who might hear, but anyone listening would hear the sweet song that was shared that night between two very good friends.
