Still With Me (FINISHED)

Leandre collapsed in front of Raphael, though the Malkavian's hand around his littler one kept him from toppling backward. Pain tore through him from top to bottom, contorting his usually gentle features, making him cry out. He shook as tears ran down his face, making the boy's expression unnatural and unlike him.
"Make it stop, please!" he shouted.
During his struggle, memories and thoughts flooded his mind, bringing him back through time, reflecting on his chronicles up until this point. Of course there was his mother, then war after war, plague and famine, billions of people hating one another. He was amidst all of this awfulness, a beautiful soul living in the dirt, and he had no idea this whole time.

Nadja screams, her body tightening up. Both if her eyes turn red and when she is finished with Leandre she looks at Gabe and smirks fiendishly. Neither Raphael or Leandre held the psychos inrerest. This little boy though he... did. She grabs his arm and drags him in. She tilts her head and whispers something to Gabriel he shrugs and suddenly looks between 16-18. "I'm going to borrow this. Have fun with your other son."

Raphael held onto Leandre but what Nadja said suddenly sparked a very different expression from Raphael, which was not sprung from childish emotions, it sprung from something much more meaningful. "DONT YOU -DARE- TAKE HIM!" he shouted. Granted this couldve been a test for little Leandre, and he was demanding something of a lesser god, for the one thing (well two) Raphael did right he wasnt going to let go of one of his kids. This was not going to be a trade-off in his foppish little mind..

Leandre was left gasping for air as the pain continued. When it was all finally over and he found himself surprisingly alive, everything had changed. The world looked different to Leandre. . .sharper, more in focus. He felt lighter, more alert, and he saw he was actually faster as well when he reached out for Nadja. He wrapped his fingers around her wrist and looked up at her. His blue-grey eyes were piercing and soulful. "Please don't take him. He is undeserving of the punishment your would inflict, though it be to your pleasure, and his Malkavian blood will only corrupt faster. Nadja. . ."
She'd done a good job of waking him.
"He is not for you to take."

Nadja leans back against a wall, "What reason do i have to punish him?" She laughs because psychos need reasons right? She let's out a sigh, "I am far from innocent Leandre. Touching me will only corrupt you."

Raphael was quite livid as rage was one of his derangements. He didnt care WHO Nadja was, he would defend those adorable cultured little guys. "I dont care what anyone is, im far from pure. Mortals humans vampires, gods, worms , whatever anyone is, you dont get to just take things like a child with your hand in the damn cookie jar and use lunacy as an excuse. Madness is never an excuse... I help you and you touch them? theyre MY SONS!" he roared, blonde locks on end like a wildcat.

Leandre's gaze flickered between Raphael and Nadja. There was almost an electric current running between his and Nadja's hands - two opposing forces unified, if only for a few short seconds - he felt surprisingly powerful. His fingertips emanated a soft blue light. It didn't hurt him, and he wasn't sure why it was happening, but maybe it would help thwart the goddess from his brother.
"Just by our proximity, I know what you're capable of. You ruin people, a systematic emotional decimation of whoever is unlucky enough to fall under your gaze."
He looked around. By now, children previously sleeping had woken up, and were slowly shuffling out into the common room.
"I'm not sure what I have to do, but I know I will keep everyone I can safe from you. And it starts now with these children."

Nadja looks at Leandre and shrugs, "These kids aren't my problem. Though you are right I ruin everything I touch. EVERYTHING GOD DAMNED THING!" Nadja glares at Leandre. She looks at Gabe and then at Raphael, "I don't... want to break him Raphael. I like Gabe so much. He is such a sweet boy. I... don't want to... but... I have to. It's the only way." She says covering her ears. Nadja had gone so long without a full breakdown. She pulls herself away from the boy and he returns back to his 8 year old state. Nadja hides herself in a corner. She looks like she is warring with herself. "Leandre. Don't. Let. Me. Break. Them."

Raphael ran to Gabriel and pulled him into a tight hug. He was quite livid and started backing up with Gabriel but he would not leave Leandre. He was a god and a damn good one but he was also a sog Raphael thought he lost forever and never forgot. Anne had been a great love and he hurt to think his efforts to save them from trouble didnt help. He would never leave him again, and if he died for his kids, it would be better than dying for something foolish. "You will not break him. Ive put ENOUGh of a burden on them because of the blood in my veins, i wont see them suffer anymore!!"

Leandre took hold of the side of Nadja's shirt and remained reassuringly close to her, even as she hunched up in the corner. "You are the imbalanced goddess, and there is no remedy for your instability. This is how you are. This is how you will be. But you don't have to succumb."
He turned to look back at his blonde family. He just wanted to go home. . .and eat food. Lots of food. And maybe take a bubble bath.
Leandre extended his hand to Nadja to help her up. Together they balanced eachother out, kept eachother in check. This would be an interesting relationship indeed.

Nadja looks at Leandre. She nods and stands up, "Okay. Okay... Leandre." Talking Nadja down from that ledge was never easy and yet here she was ready to follow Leandre.

Raphael was exceedingly proud of his children, looking down at Gabriel he replied. "see that? thats your big brother. You him myself and your momma, we're going to be together, isnt that,,isnt that great?" if one didnt know any better they might catch his voice cracking just a little, under its normal rasp. Raphael hadnt been so happy in a long time. Butts came very close, but this topped it.

Leandre gave Nadja a nod and stepped back to give her space. Then he turned back to his little family of blondes and smiled childishly. "Can we leave now? I'm starving." His stomach growled again. He moved to Raph and reached up for his hand. "Even though I'm a god, do I still have a bed time?"

Nadja glares at Raphael, she shakes her head. "Take him home. I need to leave. The innocence... I..." She vanishes leaving the father with his sons. Nadja did what she thought was safest. Which was to go beat the crap out of her husband.

Raphael grabbed the boys an headed out, each under his arms. "Okay! come now, Leandre can you teleport yourself? If i hold onto you i should be able to guide you where im going. Mon dieu Marista and Xarentheus must be worried, let us hurry!"
