What the fuck is this? (Yoya, invited)

[Varius Helviath]

Varius received a letter from Yoya that he both expected and disliked. "I guess it's gotten to the point where seeing me is too much..." he groaned as he stood up and shifted from his undead arachne visage and took a form more pleasing to 'sensitive' eyes. Putting the letter in his sash he created he leaves his room as a few arachne enter to tend to it. Recently Varius had spent more and more time alone in his room with the Arachne than he spent outside, more and more the other gods refused to listen to his advise and furthermore they started to act like they did not need him aside from his 'duties'. 

A soft shrug popped some bones into place as he shifted to get used to this form again, walking to Yoya's domain he was human but without even trying some of the flora close to him wilted. "You've summoned me?" he asks, no bitterness in his tone but it appeared to be pure business.

[Yoya DuSang]

Yoya looks over at him and smiles. "It's a pleasure to see you as well Varius." She replies before waving away the girls that were tending to her dress, it was a beautiful dark thing that hugged her until it got to the full length ballroom gown skirt. "I am sorry I have not been around. I have apparently a lot more to attend to than I thought I did." She says with a laugh. It was not false she had been very busy. In fact the goddess of life looks exhausted. "I wanted to discuss laws with you if you have the time and don't mind spending your free time with me." She says. Yoya looks him over and bites her lip. She holds her breath for a moment, "I... Varius I know what you are thinking, they will get used to you... give them time. Nadja has a bad history where she was taken by something not even I know... She was beaten and abused by this creature..." She replies and rocks on her heels. "Elysia was disliked and has big shoes to fill from her parents, but she likes you well enough. Shinda will calm once his wife does but he is a man of duty and will always respect you. He used to work for Nesirae." She says as an after thought. Then she looks back up at him and shrugs, "Good luck with Dark." Yoya pulls her hair out of her face and into a ponytail. She looks down at her dress, "Do you think it's too much?" She asks making a face. "It's for the party that is coming up... the one for Tyr, Ga, Reaper, and Jareth." Yoya was a good person and it was obvious to almost everyone that she had feelings for Varius, just wasn't good at showing them. "I think it's too much. Even for me."

Varius listens but still has that apathetic gaze as he walks over and adjusts a few things on it that were not yet done by the women she dismissed. "here...." he did so with no other words. "You look beautiful as always..." Stepping back he looked her up and down, "When is the party..." he said as he stood there looking like he was ready for eating pizza alone on the sofa while he watched late night TV. Disheveled and unkept he simply seemed to not care. He had acknowledged all she said, she could tell that much, but it did not change his mood. His gaze trailed upon the wedding dresses in the back and he actually perked an eyebrow with a soft, "So you're actually taking it seriously... it seemed like you were too busy..." His gaze lingered on the fourth one that appeared to have black lace. 

[Yoya DuSang]

Yoya watches as he fixes her dress, she blushes as he calls her beautiful. "Thank you Varius... it is in four days time." She says before sliding out of the dress and putting it on a dress mannequin. She slides into a tank top and shorts. Yoya looks at the dresses, "It's what I've been busy with... I want it to be perfect, but... I can't even pick a dress. Pathetic right?"

[Varius Helviath]

He shakes his head, "... No.... not pathetic... and it shouldn't be a worry, nothing is perfect..." He actually cracks a small smirk before it vanishes once more. "Everything has flaws..." The god already had his suit of black set up, by clot no less, and already knew what he was going to do. Now he addressed the party, "Why is there a party?" Was all he really asked with another perked eyebrow.

[Yoya DuSang]

Yoya brushes her hair behind her ear and smiles, "To celebrate the return of Jareth, Reaper, and Tyr, as well as celebrate GA becoming a god." She walks over to the dresses and touches the one with black lace.

She kisses Varius, "Wanna watch a movie or something?"

[Varius Helviath]

He takes the kiss and lifts an eyebrow, "A movie? We have the cosmos at our fingertips and..." Varius stopped himself and shook his head, "yes I'd like to see a movie.... what movie?"

[Yoya DuSang]

Yoya laughs and thinks for a moment, "Maleficient I haven't seen it since it came out." She takes his hand, "Also... I think maybe it's time we move into the castle... into our room... not your room... or my room, but our room." Yoya was trying, she liked Varius and she really hoped he liked her.

[Varius Helviath]

The man laughed and nodded, "Fair enough... I always liked the story..." At the notion he again perked both eyebrows. "You do realize that I will sometimes be in my true form... I want to be with you but I don't want you to wake up disgusted and disturbed by how I look... I'd rather be separate and love you from afar..." It seemed the cat was officially out of the bag in Varius' case.

[Yoya DuSang]

Yoya sighs and closes her eyes for a moment, "I understand it, I will get used to it, it's just... not something I've ever had to before ya know?" She says and plays with her hair, "I like you Varius, possibly even love you... so... I accept the fact that you are an arachne."

[Varius Helviath]

Varius laughs and nods, "Thank you.... I'll do what I can to make it easy..." with that Varius shifted into a small Arachne, not as menacing and creepy as his normal form. Extending his hands he smiles, which actually is a little frightening in it's own right, "I'll start small and fuzzy... mortals enjoy fuzzy..." He was in fact a fuzzy little brown arachne with nubby little legs and a smile on his back. His apathetic gaze returned after a little bit but he stayed brown and fuzzy with the smile.

[Yoya DuSang]

Yoya takes a deep breath and let's it out. She takes his hand and begins to walk, "Oddly... the other one is less scary." She says with a laugh.

[Varius Helviath]

Varius laughs once more as she nods, "Then if you get used to this form... I'll be good."

[Yoya DuSang]

She sticks her tongue out at him, "Meany." She says with a laugh as they go into their room. Yoya looks at the Grand room. It was more than she had been used to even with her private room as a goddess. "I can't remember why I quit." She says suddenly.

[Varius Helviath]

Varius shook his head as he started to walk through the room, it seemed he got himself used to the size by visiting it a lot. "I'm sure one of the other gods might remember..." His form shifted to that of a human once more midstride without him missing a step.
